About
Slash is a strategic design studio working on how institutions and companies give visible, durable form to what they already are.
(1)Profile
Founded in Portugal in 1995 by Nuno and Marta Abreu, the studio found its home in the United Arab Emirates in 2010. We hold that the measure of an identity is whether it still works years after the people who made it have gone.
We work across brand strategy and positioning, visual identity, design systems and long-term creative direction, with strategy, research and content practiced inside the design and not beside it. Context decides the rest. A system made here is made first for the people who live here, and what we make is tested against whether it belongs, which is a harder question than whether it looks good.
