Pictures of the Past

One of the greatest things about living in the UAE is seeing the pace of growth and how fast things evolve on so many fronts. That constant forward motion and view to the future is however, always tied to a deep respect of the past and a desire to hold on to the foundational values and identity.

As 2023 comes to an end and events like COP28 shine a spotlight on the future of humanity the UAE Year of Sustainability is doing a wonderful job not only highlighting the general topic of sustainability but through videos like these, looking back at the traditions and history which ground those views.

It’s always beautiful being able to get a window to these important pieces of tradition and identity and understand their place in country we are building.
